Log on with a Bank Authentication Card

Your authentication is based on the principle that only the bearer of the smart card and the associated PIN code will be able to answer a mathematical challenge sent by our web server. To use the authentication, follow a few simple steps.

Be careful during the first steps, because entering the PIN code incorrectly 3 times blocks the smart card.

  • Step 1:
    • Enter the Bank Authentication Card number in the 'username' box: your card number is displayed above; it is possible to enter the shortened number beginning 'CABxxxx...'.

  • Step 2:
    • Insert the Bank Authentication Card into the card reader, which lights up.
    • Enter the PIN code for the card (secret code known only to the bearer).

  • Step 3:
    • The card reader displays 'enter challenge number'.
    • Enter the challenge number displayed on your terminal screen into the card reader: the card reader displays a 'result' comprising 8 digits.

  • Step 4:
    • Enter the 'result' displayed by your card reader in the 'password' box for the web server.

  • You are authenticated!
