Emergency numbers for managing your accounts and cards

Card and cheque book lost or stolen

If your card, cheque book or data is lost, stolen or used fraudulently, or if your card is swallowed when you make a withdrawal, stop payment immediately:

  • by going to your Crédit Mutuel1 app or customer area1; or
  • by calling: 03 88 40 10 00 (non-premium-rate number, cost depending on operator) from France at any time of the day; or
  • +33 3 88 40 10 00 (non-premium-rate number, cost depending on operator) from abroad at any time of the day.

You can also call the national interbank service number used by all banks to stop payment:

These numbers are for calling only. Therefore, if you receive a call from one of these numbers, you are likely to be in contact with a fraudster.

Fraud

Have you been the victim of fraud or attempted fraud? If in doubt, take the following action:

  1. Stop payment on your bank card.
  2. Change your customer area password.
  3. Contact your advisor
  4. File a report with the nearest Gendarmerie or police station.

Suspicious connection to your customer area?

Have you received an email telling you that someone has connected to your customer area from a new device, even though it wasn’t you? First, change the password for your customer area1 then call the following number:

Mobile phone stolen or broken

Have you taken out a Bouygues Telecom mobile phone contract with Crédit Mutuel? If your phone is stolen, follow these steps within 48 hours of the theft:

  • Suspend your line via your Bouygues Telecom customer area.
  • Go to the nearest police station or Gendarmerie to file a report. You will be asked for your phone’s 15-digit IMEI number.
  • If you have insurance, contact your advisor to report the theft.

  1. Need a breakdown service? Contact Mondial Assistance on:
